Good Stuff OverLoad

Ever feel like there is so much stuff out there that you ultimately feel lost? Have you ever found yourself reading one thing-then get part way through it only jump on a link to a related subject? It’s a maddening circle.

Ugh.

My brain is on spin cycle.

In a 15 minute time span one night, I managed to stumble upon several great things all related to dogs and loving your dogs. I wasn’t even looking around for “dog” anything, magically they appeared. I ended up favoritizing (my new word) several sites so I could go back and really read them after I untangled my brain.

So, without further ado , I give to you what I discovered. By the way, I don’t have permission to reprint their stuff---I can only direct you to them.

• A local San Jose pooch becomes online sensation when he is caught smiling (seriously, true story) at his birthday cake!

• You gotta love Mashable for all they deliver. Leave it Amy-Mae Elliott who gives us a list of 10 Best iPhone Apps for Dog Lovers. I know, what will they think of next?

• Getting a new mutt? Well then, the folks at Real Simple have put together a New Dog Owner Check List. Of course, when you get the new dog, you will probably need a dog sitter (you heard right). There’s a Pet-Sitter Hiring Checklist for that, too.

• Finally, that dog is going to get hungry sooner or later. That’s when our friend Rachael Ray comes to the rescue with “Thank Your Dog Casserole” and other great feasts for Fido.
